Plants
The garden, one plant at a time, always growing.
I grew up in a home with a huge backyard garden. I watched my parents take care of every plant in it like it was one of their own children.
I always wanted a garden of my own, and I'm slowly building one. This section is where I show it off as it grows.

Football Lily
This one goes back to my childhood. Someone gifted it to my dad, and it stood out immediately: it bloomed only once a year, it was bigger than any flower I'd seen, and its tiny flowers arranged themselves into that unmistakable football shape. My family loved it so much that we did a photo shoot around it every year, and despite all the construction that happened around our house over the years, my parents managed to keep it alive.
So when I started building my own garden, this was the first plant that came to mind, and I got lucky enough to find it in Bangalore. Every May, when it blooms, I take a lot of pictures and send them to my parents. In exchange, they send me pictures of theirs.
Scadoxus multiflorus, also called blood lily or fireball lily.
